A new vocation

LOL. The Curt Jester has outdone himself this time. The recently created position of Liturgical Referee has been instituted to help to bring uniformity to the celebration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

I can think of one Church in my area where the music selection and 'lead singer' would cause penalty markers to fly.

and... maybe they could have part of the referee's uniform match the liturgical seasons.
